Clear Channel launched a national $175-million dollar contest in September. Qualified listeners won trips to the 2003 RMA’s in Las Vegas. During a VIP event, two lucky listeners selected winning prize envelopes to cash in on $1,000,000 each. American Idol, Kelly Clarkson, presented the winners with their $1,000,000 checks. America’s newest Millionaires, Brian Otte from Phoenix, AZ and Foster Thomas from Lawrenceville, GA, were promoted during the NBC live broadcast of the Radio Music Awards. Prize coverage for both winners was provided by AMSP.
